Chef Louise Urbano brings a lifelong passion for cooking, inspired by her childhood in Peru, where she learned the art of transforming fresh, simple ingredients into memorable meals.
After moving to Miami, she pursued her passion professionally, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management and an Associate’s degree in Nutrition from Florida International University.
Louise has worked across the culinary world in restaurants, hotels, and culinary education, holding roles from line cook and sous chef to chef instructor. Most recently, she spent several years teaching hands-on cooking classes at Sur La Table, helping guests of all skill levels build confidence in the kitchen.
